Christmas, you distract me D:

Hello loves!

I hope you've all been well, I've been very distracted as of late.
My life seems to be work, work, christmas events online, stickam, sleep, repeat. As it were, I haven't had much time for art lately, and my being easily distracted doesn't really help.

I have a few things to work on, mainly a freebie list that I need to finish, and an art commission on Gaia. Then perhaps I can start doing original things again, but lately I just haven't been in the mood. ><

Recently my dad was admitted to the hospital to have foot surgery, because of a bad infection that wouldn't leave brought on by diabetes, and unfortunately taking his toe. D:
He seems to be doing well and comes home tomorrow, so it wasn't as disastrous as I thought it would be, but there's still room for it to spread to his foot, and that.. is even worse to have amputated.. >>

So yeah, I'm sure most of you can guess that my Christmas has been rather eh so far..
I'm reallllly hoping things lighten up. In the relationship department, it just might ;D

I'm going to try and get some art done soon, whenever I get a good hold on these events I'm working on. Holidays on places like Solia and Roliana have my attention captured, .. I apologize for my non-existant A.D.D.

I should just forget what I'm saying, go make some chamomile tea and get my lazy ass to drawing XD Though, my focus going in and out doesn't help D:


On another note, I finally purchased a ball-jointed doll! I've been wanting one ever since meeting :iconrennarevelin: because hers are so darn cute >w<.
We recently combined monies and bought myself one, and she is going to get the free event doll that comes with it ^___^ I can't wait for mine to come, now I have a reason to re-learn sewing and make stuff. I'm psyched~

I believe that's all that's going on right now, expect to see some art soon!

Herro all, I'm Katie and I'm 20. I'm just making my way in trying to get better at art a little each day. I do photography, digital, and pixel art mostly. My style is as random as I am, so besides Gordy and a few other things, don't expect consistency.

I've been on DA for a few year now, but I know I'm not to the point of artistic ability that I won't to achieve just yet, so being here and receiving comments about my works really helps, I really appreciate feedback.
