Sorry for the lack of journals lately. I haven't really been around the internet much, with work and social gatherings. I hope that everyone is well. Some of you I haven't talked to in ages, but I hope to catch up to eventually. :]

Also, I've looked around my gallery and realized how truely
random my style is. Its interesting yet, annoying. Its like I
don't have one at all, which kind of bums me out. Oh well, maybe
one day I'll fix it and be set on one. /shrug. Just have to find
inspiration (hopefully the warm weather will help) and get crackin'
on it. Practice. Practice. Practice.

So, I'm starting a new project.
I've recently rediscovered ball jointed dolls, and am falling
in love with the work and details that go into them.

Such as this lovely doll I want so much: [link]
I want to be able to create amazing things like that. It'll take
some practice, but I'm totally driven.

Some fun things I've ordered have come in the mail, and I recently
shopped for doodads that I thought I could maybe use for them.
For right now I'm just going to focus on doing BJD faceups (their
makeup and blushing to the skin), and making clothes for them.
And as it were, the dolls themselves are pretty hefty in price, and
making things and selling them for such dolls can be just as lucrative.
So hopefully, if this all goes well, I'll have a second (and fun) way
of income.

Wow, do I suck at writing journals or what?
I apologize for the lack of activity here, just haven't had
the energy to deal with a lot of things internet-wise lately.
Happy New year by the way, haha. I'm a bit late I know. OTL
I've decided that this year, things will be different. I'm breaking
ties with those who don't deserve my acknowledgement, and
changing my attitude towards things. Its going to be a slow
process, but hopefully it'll work out.

Lately, I've been sketching out ideas for a children's book I'm
going to be illustrating, so that's at least exciting. Still haven't
perfected it, but I hope if this goes well, a few more collabs of
this nature will occur. :]

And, as I've just finished doing my tax return online, I'm hoping
to finally get the DSLR I've been wanting for years upon years.
Something about photography feels like home to me. I've been
snapping pictures like crazy lately, but mostly of people. Its still
not the clarity that I want, but once I get a new camera, I'm
hoping to focus a lot on that. I'll still draw too, just probably not
a lot at first.

I recently made some business cards through MOO.com. I'm
hoping this helps me expand my audience once everything gets
working as it should. If it does, life will be so much sweeter. c:
I liked their setup for official things, but that site didn't have a
good way of producing stickers. So, on that note, does anyone
know of a good site to go to for printing needs? Like, entire sheets
of my design, stickers of different random shapes and such? Any
help would be great!

Lastly, I hope that everyone has been well.

Greetings all!
I'm officially back online. Woo!
My computer has been fixed by a friend, so I can be on here more.

Just in time too. I have a whole bunch of art to get started on.
Not to mention its almost halloween, and I have yet to do one Fall piece because of this computer mishap. But rest assured, I'll at least get one done before the big day.

I'll try to be on as much as I can, though work has upped my working days, so I'm going to be slightly more busy than I was, and twice as exhausted. Bleh. I'll try my best to work through it  though, so I can get some art out. That is, if any of you are still watching me, haha.

I have a few pieces and ideas in mind, as well as some nerdy fanart to do. So these next few months ought to be busy ones.

Sorry I've been kinda slow on the journal making curve,
I kinda keep forgetting about this since I have a Tumblr.
On top of that, I've had a bit of stress added on each day
for about 4 weeks now.

Sure, that may sound like good writing material, but, I
think I've been whining to everyone on the internet a bit
much. I'm sure nobody wants to hear about a sucky lack
of a love life, money issues or work fights. Kind of a turnoff
for any fans of mine. If anyone reads these, that is.

I've been somewhat productive lately, posting a few things
here and there. Finally working on more "adult" art to help
practice anatomy a bit more. Which may not make sense,
but it works for me, that, and I'm a perv. :3 Best of both
worlds, in my opinion.

And I've also been thinking of starting up a Livestream,
but I'm not too sure. I don't gather that too many people
would show up, seeing as how I lack activity on here, so
most have probably forgotten about me by now. Bummer.

Hey there.
I haven't written in awhile, so I figure this is a good
a time as any to update.

The other day, I got massively bored during the night.
So what did I do? I caved and joined the ranks of the
internet fad posse and got myself a Tumblr. What it does..
I have no idea. Its like a photobucket cross breeding with
a blogger, or somesuch. Pretty much an e-closet I can keep
all my likeable junk I suppose.

I'm still trying to figure out how to customize it a little,
as well as making a header for it. Its so boring looking
right now. But I'll figure it out eventually. Promise. c;

Hm, what else...
Ah. I went shopping last night and finally bought myself one
of those poseable mannequin doll-thing-mabobs. They're
really fun to just mess with, but this one will be great for all
my posing issues, so I suppose it was worth buying. Though
I'm disappointed it cant lift its thigh too high.. I mean, it could...
if I broke it and fixed it my way. >:3 We'll see.

And also, my diet is going well, lost about 10 lbs so far,
pretty psyched about that! My eating habits did a complete 180,
and I'm much healthier now. Though, I probably should see
a doctor for my bad ankle.. meh.. Why do doctors go on
vacation so much? T_T

Things seem to be at a standstill currently.
My job is sucky and getting harder to stand everyday
I'm there. I'm having artblock or something of the sort
and its really putting me behind. I have a few projects
to work on, and I just can't find the time/motivation to get
them done. =[

I don't know what it is exactly that's gotten me in a sour/
depressed mood. Though I'm sure the surroundings I've
been used too for so long, aren't helping much..

I NEED ADVENTURE AND SOMETHING NEW DAMMIT!

I'd very much like to take some time off, go visit
somewhere, go see people, new places, new surroundings
in general. Maybe that would kickstart my artsy flow again.
This black hole of a town is bringing me down, and its
not cool. Someone save me.. T_T

There are a few things I need to obtain before going
anywhere, naturally. I'll work on that soon enough,
but I guess I just need a ray of sunshine to help me
see through the current foggy mess...

So, I just spent the last few hours reading tutorial after
tutorial on digital painting and realism effects. I must say,
I've become very inspired! With this, I wanted to see what resources
I could get my hands on, and I stumbled upon
.
From what I hear and see on DA everyday, this magazine seems
to be one of the best references and go-to's, so I bought a few issues.

I honestly cannot wait until they come in. I'm going to end up
being a big ol' artsy geek, sitting on my floor, surrounded by
magazines and my laptop, just going nuts.
I may even draw that as an ID someday, who knows.

But yes, I don't feel so out of the loop and stuck in the
unknown when it comes to digital painting anymore.
So, let's hope after reading these (and the pre-ordered
book on anatomy) I'll get much better.

In other news, I've been getting a bit annoyed with my workplace (not like its new), and the coworkers that are there. For some reason unknown, I'm being being sought out as meat for the old (I MEAN OLD) crowd. There have been a few that have lately begun to ask me out on dates and to go to "shows" with them. I didn't know when it was that I suddenly wore OLD attractant... I was very much unaware... stupid mislabeled perfume. -_-
I mean, I don't think I'm ugly, so I'm slightly flattered..but equally as freaked out. I'm sure you understand. /shiver

Also, I've been really itching to go see Tron.
It looks awesome, and I'm a huge fan of Daft Punk, so it sounds like a big win-win to me.
Has anyone seen it yet? What did you think?

As for me, well, I've been sleeping when not
awake for work or somesuch. Its been pretty pathetic,
as I waste a lot of time and haven't been productive at all.
I'm kind of angry at myself, but my body likes to fight me about it..
